Vinification Traditional method of long maceration: natural fermentation without added yeasts for 40 days in stainless steel tanks
Ageing Six months in stainless steel tanks, three years in large capacity Slavonian oak casks (35-50 hl) and a successive refinement in the bottle
Tasting notes The color is a deep garnet red with ruby reflections. The scent is complex and rich with fruit, floral scents, spices, underbrush and plums. The bouquet is rich with fruit and floral fragrances, and strong warm spiced scents. An elegant and velvety wine, it is characterized by its completeness, balance and well known longevity
Matching The Barolo Riserva pairs well with dishes of red meat, game and aged as well as with many rich international dishes
Serving temperature The recommended serving temperature is 18 – 20 degrees, open the bottle a few hours before serving and pour into a carafe
