Surface area: 10 hectares Soils: 6 ha sandy-clayey at the surface, with gravelly subsoil (Chevrol plateau in Néac), and 4 ha on a gravelly outcrop that contains 10% clay (in Lalande) Grape varieties: 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc Vine density: 6,000 - 8,000 vines per hectare, according to the plot Average age of vines: 32 years old Pruning: guyot double and guyot simple Soil management: traditional by machine, plus removal of grass cover without chemicals Green works: trimming if needed at veraison Harvesting: Mechanical with sorting process embarked on the machine followed by sorting out on a vibrating table Vats: thermoregulated cement and stainless steel Vinification: plot by plot ; manual pumping over, maceration for around one month, pneumatic press Ageing: 15 months in fine-grained French oak barrels (1/3 new, 1/3 one wine, 1/3 two wines). 1-2 rackings per year Annual production: 50,000 bottles
